It is a great reward for the people who serve the living God. And Slavic Trinity Church surely rejoices from the blessings it receives from the Lord. Having a great multitude of children aged 6 to 10, with the desire to glorify God, the need for a children’s choir became very clear.
It was established shortly after our young brothers and sisters graduated from the conducting class. Full of energy and desire to work hard for the glory of God in praise. Thus, in 2009, it came to be as the youngest choir of Slavic Trinity Church, “Emmanuel.”
For many children this is the first step of their spiritual life, the beginning of their participation in glorifying God. Here, not only do they sing but learn how they can glorify God by the way they behave and live their life. At rehearsals, children get their first knowledge of musical notation, vocals, and most notably they learn about the importance and value of the Levites’ service.
Most children will move on to other choirs such as the teen choir, one of the many youth choirs as they grow. The choir constantly accepts new conductors, and glory be to God that every year the choir grows in large numbers. Between 200 and 250 children are looking forward to the next service in which they can participate and praise of the Lord.
